Start your morning with power-packed and nutritious Moringa Oatmeal Pesarattu. Pesarattu is a south Indian breakfast loved by kids and grown-ups alike. The dish is popular upstate as moong dosa or moong cheela.
Moringa is a versatile nutrient-rich product from the Drumstick Tree. As you start using Moringa, you will be surprised, how similar it is to Spinach or Palak. And at the same time more nutritious. It has 10 times more iron than spinach (if the quantity is the same).
Going off from presenting to a quick recipe, this one requires a bit of preparation. But if you are a ragi (finger millet) fan, you know that no amount of effort can equate the good nutrients it brings to the table. Combined with the power of Moringa and flavored with the green chilies & ginger, this makes this preparation my favourite among the Indian preparation. This is not to discourage regular wheat lovers. Though the preparation does require wheat to be added (else the dough won't be stable and would break), if you do like the preparation, go ahead and use the regular wheat.
