The Golden spice has been used in India for ages. So in food, if we have a yellow color, it is most likely due to Turmeric. It has many beneficial compounds, the most important one being, curucuminoids, of which the most important one is curcumin. A normal Turmeric powder or haldi has 1%-2% curcumin, whereas our Lakadong Turmeric Powder sourced from Jaintia village in Meghalaya has 7%-9% (lab tested through NABL & ICMR).
This recipe is a twist on the Energizing Turmeric-Tulsi-Ginger Golden Tea. We simply make it refreshingly cold.
