This ice cream is not only healthy and plant-based but also dairy-free, gluten-free, no-refined-sugar & importantly guilt-free. The green color comes from Moringa, making it nutrient-rich. The stress-free properties come from Ashwagandha and importantly the delicious yum of the chocolate chips.
When I prepared the recipe first, my focus was on the amount of sweet. The presence of natural and organic sweeteners such as coconut milk and maple syrup take an attempt or two to master. If you ignore the experimentation time, this recipe is fast (prep time is only 15 minutes) and leaving you enough time to enjoy the delectable delight.
But first what is moringa? Moringa wave is taking the world by storm. This nutrient-rich powder is made from leaves of Drumstick Tree, also known as the "Miracle Tree". We are not citing the numerous benefits of Moringa, which you can read in the trivia section. Moringa is delicious and very versatile like the Japanese Matcha powder (made from green tea leaves).
The other superlative ingredient is Ashwagandha, called as the King of Herbs. It is an adaptogen, which helps the body fight stress and has many benefits like Moringa. Ashwagandha is one of the key components of Chawanprash, an ancient recipe for building immunity.

Recipe Note
Full fat Coconut Milk: If you don't get one, you can take coconut cream (about 1/2 cup) and mix it in regular coconut milk.
You can convert this recipe into popsicle by using a popsicle Ice-mould.
Moringa Powder: The powder may take an effort to mix. So, if using a blender, mix it on high speed. We don't recommend mixing it by hand, because it would take ages to mix completely.
