Going off from presenting to a quick recipe, this one requires a bit of preparation. But if you are a ragi (finger millet) fan, you know that no amount of effort can equate the good nutrients it brings to the table. Combined with the power of Moringa and flavored with the green chilies & ginger, this makes this preparation my favourite among the Indian preparation. This is not to discourage regular wheat lovers. Though the preparation does require wheat to be added (else the dough won't be stable and would break), if you do like the preparation, go ahead and use the regular wheat.

It couldn't be understated that the Moringa Ragi SuperRoti has to be made fresh & had just off the stove. Therefore the ingredients have to be fresh and oozing with the aroma.
I have become a fan of Ragi (finger millets) grain recently and you may not be surprised to know that it is one of the staple diets in rural India. It is rich in calcium, helps in weight loss and has a high fiber content. It has anti-diabetic properties as it low glycemic index and therefore doesn't shoot up the blood glucose as by other traditional grains/starch. High fiber content helps to reduce the food craving which may lead to weight loss.
All in all Ragi is a great grain to try. Truly a SuperGrain.
And when you mix a supergrain with Superfood, Moringa, the combination is unbeatable. Moringa is a known nutrient powerhouse with its own anti-diabetic properties. It helps to lower the blood pressure & blood sugar in diabetics. You can check our Trivia section to know about this Superfood, that the world is getting crazy about.
We recommend the use of cast iron pans to make the Roti, as it would bring out the best. Also since we use primarily plant-based oils, we would recommend using Virgin Olive Oil/Virgin Coconut Oil for smearing.
So get ready to make your Super Rotis
